Gibberish

1) Treat others the way you want to be treated.

There was this movie about an English man who drifted at sea after his ship sank. He found a native on an unknown island. He could only communicate with the native using simple sign language. He native caught fish, hunted food and built a small hut for him. They became friends. Slowly, the native learnt to speak and understand simple English. One fine day they had a casual chat, the Englishman talk about slavery and mentioned about his family and his name. The native asked the English man, " Master, your name John? What is Master?"
The Englishman was lost for words. The native said angrily "I slave? You master? You get your own food!". The native stormed off and the Englishman caught up with native to apologize and to explain himself. But the native said" I learn your English. But you know not a word of my language." The Englishman knew from that very moment not only he had lost his only means for survival in the jungle, and a true friend whom he made to call him master.

HOLIDAY!

Finally its time for my yearly " pilgrimage " back to my kampong. This time we gonna move to an exciting new area where the biggest waterfall on the island flows. Oh yeah, we gonna go deep into the jungle to explore the mysterious lake and be "wow-ed" by wild orchid garden.

This trip will all be about adventure (YESH FINALLY!) as my friends are very gung-ho. I don't think they will be very happy if I just simply laze in the comfort of my hammock. LOL
For years, I've been wishing hard to meeting friends that are adventurous and are able to motivate me to move my butt.

Oh yeah the black panther is also a cat. meow...

Diva's Cafe 咖啡厅12.5

My second cup of the day. Its the little simple joy that makes life wonderful. Cheers.

Diva's Cafe 咖啡厅12

Its been a long time. 好久没有慢慢的享受咖啡。Last night at the park, where all the lighted kites flew in the sky made a beautiful sight. Somehow it left a little sadness in me, as strings are attached to the kites that roam the skies. A little perfection in an imperfect world that makes life.

Carpenter

The quest for an education is not about attaining a piece of "paper" as it proves nothing about the depth and inner soul of a person. The point of education is to equip the mind with "tools" as to a carpenter who knows his tools required to build a table. But there are carpenters who can't build a table even he knows his tools.........

Abstract

The dust particles settle on the surfaces, time after time. Word by word as I type the dust unseen by eyes moves away from the keyboard but then as the wind blows through the window, more unseen dust follows. Some travel from the apartment above and below, some may even travel as far as from 10 thousand miles.

Every beat of the heart indicates a gush of blood circulating all over the body bringing life to every moment. Every breathe we make wakes up every senses we are blessed with. But all these never makes one feeling more alive than pain.

The mind's filled with thoughts whether we are thinking or not. It never stops working.
It's only the grandfather's clock needs winding, in order to fulfill its one and only purpose. But yet its a noble cause as to remind us, how much time is left for us the breathing ones. Yes, we created time but yet we also limited our life since we created time.

The dust's still flying in. The blood's still flowing. The mind's still thinking and I am still typing.
I've had just lived a short tender moment as I let my thoughts roam by forgetting time so my heart can take a break from all that "over- worryings".

Now its time to sleep. Back to limiting life with time.

Your pain is for me. Thank you

I know the title did not sound very auspicious for my first entry of the year, but read on.

I happened to talk to an old friend yesterday morning. He was full of anger. I don't know what got into him. But being friends for so many years. I knew right away his outbreak was nothing what it seemed to be. Lets just say different people has different way when comes to expressing oneself. He was loud and aggressive. If our conversation was overheard by anyone, 99percent of the human race would be mistaken with the content and the intent.

I actually had a smile on my face when he scolded me non stop for like 15minutes. Don't get me wrong, I am not the type who would let anyone do so. That moment made me felt like I'm enjoying a cup of coffee. Bitter yet sweet at the same time. Bitter part is, I got him so worried. Sweet part is that I know I've got a good friend for life and with that I am able to walk on charcoal even when made my feet hurts every step I make.

Our conversation ended well as usual by comforting each other. I did the same to him on some occasions but of course not this time, this was his "moment". But when during my "moment", I was told almost no one can outspoke me. LOL

This has always been the way of how we got along. He proclaimed on many occasions that if there's anyone who knew him, I maybe the one somehow. He too is one of a few that knew me well. Words meant nothing. Its always the heart that counts. I am very happy and lucky that I have friends like him who truly cares and love me, nothing superficial and no agenda.

I had a wonderful closure for 2010. I hope you did too. 2011 is looking very promising. I'm looking forward to every sunrise. Cheers.

Report Book Blues

End of year can be somewhat depressing yet it can be fun and exciting at the same time. I guess when one gets older, each year end means lost of time and precious youth. Of course youth is something we are losing every second the minute we were born.

Year end is also a time when you get your report book. It tells you your milestones of not just the current year but also a summery of what you are now and before. When you take a hard look again on that report book, you know right away, whats working for you and whats not. A third look at it tells you what should be done for the coming new year.

Oh yeah. That very report book can make you either feel rewarding or depressing. But the depressing part seems to come in more often than the rewarding part. Reason is simple, we will never feel contended no matter how much we have had achieved. There are always something we should have had done or something we all shouldn't. Just like what we always say "If I had known...". Conclusion is, we are never gonna know.

All I know from my report book this year is, There are lots of "I SHOULD/COULD HAVE HAD"...... Oh well, I can see that clearly now and that's gonna be what I will work on next year.

Meanwhile, its year end. I concluded at this point of time, I shall have a 2 weeks break and just enjoy myself for now. Yeah, let my lazy bones take over me to relax and to recharge, for the road to my next report book is gonna be a long way later. Reality shall resume on 2nd Jan 2011. CHEERS!
