Dance Of A Modern Marriage

Dance Of A Modern Marriage has traveled to Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival 2008 just about 3 weeks ago. I must say so far, this is one of the most memorable film I've acted in. I played the role of a geisha. No, there were no nude scenes nor sex scenes for me. Actually there were no nude scenes in the film either. The director got a very professional choreographer specially for my role. The dance rehearsals were tough for a person with two left feet like me. In order to give my best performance, I decided to rehearse on my own. For thirteen days, I started my rehearsal from 12noon to 5am in the morning on set. I had also lost 5kgs or more in the whole process. I hope this film will travel to other regions too.

Work Out! I Gotta Really Work Out!

I really got to renew my gym membership..... Shame on me! I haven't been to the gym since I got back from Los Angeles. Two years! What was I thinking? Okay, maybe I did went twice or thrice, but this is still not good enough for me to burn those fats on my belly from those late night supper.

I have been so well fed that I could hardly recognize myself at the mirror. This explains the reason why I haven't got myself a full length mirror in my room. I feel disgusted when I get into the lift/elevator each time I leave my house after dolling up for functions and events because my image reflection from the cold steel and metal kills me each time when I look at it.

No, its not all about looking good in the physical way but rather, I thought I kind of look unhealthy and I do feel that my energy level has somehow gone down. It seems to take me more effort to do everything and anything these days. This is not right....... Not good too.

For the past 3 weeks I gave up supper, cut down on my caffeine intake and yes I love milk in my strong coffee, lots of it. Also I've stopped eating dessert.... Okay , I'm still having it I admit but I've cut that down to once every 2 weeks which is very reasonable for any healthy human being wannabe like me.

Sugar makes me grouchy... An article from Reader's Digest I read years ago suggested that white sugar increases the process of aging by as much as 7 times. But I LOVE DESSERT......
Pinna Cota, Sofiato, Gelato, Poached Pears in Wine, Tiramisu and that good old fashion fresh cream sponge cake with fresh strawberries on top and peanuts on the side!!! Sinful yet deadly yummy!

Enough said. First of all, I need to start to summon all my energy and move my fat butt to the gym.... LoL

Bro has got back to UAE. Prince had just returned from Los Angeles. As for me, hell! My "dream" was said to have been postponed to next May due to insufficient funding....

I shall say this year May is full of sudden happenings. Its like car racing. Suddenly, you gotta turn left then right after that you gotta turn right again to save yourself from crashing.

Wedding Diva went bananas!

So what's up with the wedding gown photo shoot last week? Love that diva le grand gown Bro Rey put on me! I felt like DA DIVA QUEEN more than a bride wannabe!! Can't wait to see those pictures in January! No, wedding bells are still not ringing for me yet. This photo shoot is for a new bridal magazine. By the way, have you ever seen a fat diva queen? Here!! Me Me Me!! hahaha

Anyway, how dare I forget to get those bananas to replace my daily supper? Got to really watch my waist line. I've been over eating too much.... But still, I am glad I had my Roti Prata for supper last night. heehee

So what's coming up for me in DEC? I have a few outdoor engagements which means I am hired to perform two or three songs and followed by hosting a lucky draw in a mall. YAY!!

Meanwhile, I'll spend my time to catch up with my readings and practice my songs. I've had just finished writing a script for a short film. Looking forward to direct it, that is if anyone wants to help me with the production FOC. I guess I'll work on getting my crews first then followed by doing casting calls. Anyway, my script has been sent to a "script doctor" who happens to be my producer for this film. If he gives me green light on my script, the rest would be much easier. If not I would have to go rewrite the script again....

DEC will be a fun and fast moving month. Lots of celebration! Lots of good food to eat and lots of love to give and to receive! Only thing is one of my buddy Bro left town to spread his wings in UAE. I'm gonna miss him! Miss him already! I cried so much at the airport when he left, but I'm happy for him at the same time. This year has been the time for growth and improvement for me and my friends. Lots of things had happened and changed, but for the better and more positive looking future. :)

3) JY found a better job and looking forward to UAE next year.
4) BB left hell and spread his wings in UAE
5) EN spread his wings both in Los Angeles and Singapore
6) GT spread her wings in Los Angeles and wedding bells maybe ringing soon!!
7) ML is on her way to spread her wings somewhere near NYC.
8) AW and ML found each other. Dbl happiness.
9) GC got her pay increased with a promotion.
10) JT found his dream job after so long.
11) I got what I had been working for and now working towards a new goal.
12) CC got out of his stressful cubicle and now enjoying his new job.
13) DO found the love of his life.
14) AA doing well in his studies
15) RN is back for good and has been enjoying her many vacations.

YAAAY!! Everyone did well this year!! BRAVO!!

Whats happening after DEC? Seriously, I don't know.... Maybe I'll continue my pole dancing lessons if time permits and IF I'm lucky, I may have a new project.... Crossing my fingers...

Just feeling tired... Been working out too much lately and since it's a Sunday and sundays are meant for rest, so.....


Anyway, later in the morning I'll be going for photo shoot for a new bridal magazine. I'm pretty excited about it even though it's not my first time wearing a bridal gown. I wore it about twice for TV shoot as much as I can remember. I'm more curious about what design I get to wear for the shoot.


I guess it is every women's fantasy to be in that white gown that will make one look like a princess and lived happily ever after with her prince charming.
That's what we women were brought up to believe as kids from those fairy tales bedtime stories.
